Disability Awareness Day at the State Capitol

March 7, 2023 is Disability Awareness Day at the State Capitol

• The North Dakota Disabilities Advocacy Consortium (NDDAC) will sponsor Disability Awareness Day at the North Dakota Legislature on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 9am to 4pm in the Great Hall of the State Capitol in Bismarck.  The goal of this event is to provide legislators and the public an opportunity to learn how public policy issues impact people with disabilities and their families.  Every legislator will have the opportunity to interact with persons with disabilities and learn, on a one-to-one basis, how public policy decisions shape the lives of individuals with disabilities and their family members. NDDAC is also accepting applications for exhibitors and sponsors.  Additional information is attached. People with disabilities, their family members and other participants can register here.
