P&A Opens Public Comment Period on Agency’s 2025 Goals

(Bismarck, ND) The North Dakota Protection & Advocacy Project (P&A) is requesting input on the issues that are most important to individuals with disabilities.

Stakeholders and the public are invited to participate in P&A’s public comment period from May 10 through June 10.  Feedback from people with disabilities, their families, advocates, service providers, and others will guide P&A’s work and use of limited resources in the year ahead.

Public comment will be accepted via an online survey.  Click here to complete the survey.  P&A’s public comment period will also include two virtual townhalls, which will highlight the agency’s current work and provide time for exploring the pressing issues facing North Dakotans with disabilities. All are welcome to participate, no registration necessary:

Protection & Advocacy’s mission is to champion the equality and inclusion of people with disabilities in all aspects of life. To do this, P&A provides information and referral, self-advocacy assistance, advocacy representation, legal representation, protective services, education, training, and more. P&A is a federally mandated, independent state agency established in 1977 to advance the human and legal rights of people with disabilities.
