Guardianship Handbook
A new resource is available entitled The Guardianship Handbook: A guide for Court-Appointed Guardians in North Dakota. Guardianship is a court-appointed relationship between a competent adult/entity (guardian) and a person considered unable to handle his or her affairs (ward). People with disabilities may find themselves in need of a guardian. If you are contemplating taking on this role or have been recently appointed as a guardian, the handbook provides helpful information about guardianship, alternatives to guardianship and answers to frequently asked questions.
